Appreciation

Extract the maximum amount of information from a single factor.

The Appreciation tool provides a formal framework that you can use to Drill Down and extract additional information quickly, effectively, and reliably.

To use the Appreciation tool:

Step 1:  Start with an important fact about your problem (use the Factors tool).

Step 2:  Ask the question “So what?” (i.e. What are the implications of that fact?).

Step 3:  Then keep on asking the question (“So what?”) until you have drawn out all of the possible inferences.
